Shaun took up scuba diving in the 90s and has dived recreationally ever since, in a diverse range of places, including the British Isles; Egypt; Dominican Republic; Fuerteventura; Crete and Southern Spain.

Moving to Andalucía gave him the opportunity to scuba dive extensively in the Costa Tropical. After several expeditions viewing the fascinating marine life in the dive sites of Almuñécar and La Herradura, he decided he wanted to train as a scuba diving instructor. After qualifying as an Open Water Scuba Instructor, Shaun continued his dive education by becoming a Master Scuba Diver Trainer with Buddies Dive Centre. In addition to his PADI Instructor status, Shaun is also a fully certified Emergency First Response Instructor, which allows him to teach First Aid Courses that are relevant to both scuba diving, and in the home or work place. If teaching Scuba Diving in Málaga and Granada doesn't keep him busy enough, Shaun has also trained under The Association of Scuba Service Engineers & Technicians, completing his Dive Industry Technicians Course and Cylinder Testing Course, allowing him to offer a comprehensive Scuba Diving Equipment Repair and Maintenance Service in the provinces of Málaga and Granada. Shaun operates independently and is completely mobile, which allows him to offer Scuba Diving Training along the length of the South Coast of Spain, from Granada to Málaga. His independent status also means that he is under no time pressure to pass a student. He prefers to work at a pace that suits each particular student, resulting in capable and confident Scuba Divers.
