 Welcome to Buddies Dive Centre, your local scuba diving centre on the Costa Tropical de Granada. Conveniently situated midway between Málaga and Granada airports the bays of Almuñécar and La Herradura, from where we operate, enjoy a sub tropical micro-climate, affording water sports enthusiasts the perfect location and water temperature for year-round scuba diving in the Andalucían region of Spain.
The crystal clear Mediterranean waters of the Costa Tropical and the Costa del Sol are renowned for the rich and diverse range of marine life that inhabits this area. Specimens such as lobster, dolphin, octopus, conger and moray eel are regularly spotted on our dives through wrecks, rock walls, reefs and underwater caves. In addition to the superb marine life, these tranquil and warm waters are also home to an abundance of flora and fauna, guaranteeing to delight any scuba diver. Such is the quality of marine life here that Costa del Sol dive schools from Málaga, and even as far away as Cádiz, regularly arrange diving trips to this area.
As established PADI certified Instructors, the team at Buddies Dive Centre offer recreational scuba dives for already certified divers, along with a range of scuba diving courses, in and around Almuñécar and the bay of La Herradura. We cater for small groups and individuals of all ages and abilities. As registered Emergency First Response Instructors we also offer First Aid Courses that are applicable both when diving and in normal day to day life.
Diving safety is of paramount importance, and we are justly proud of our safety record. Scuba diving in Spain could not be safer and more enjoyable than with Buddies Dive Centre. We adapt our introductory dives to the ability of the individual diver thus ensuring that a new diver's introduction to the fascinating world of scuba diving is a memory to be treasured.

Flexibility is our byword. All our courses can be adapted to suit individual requirements. We will even come to you to undertake the confined water session elements of the Open Water course.
